After signing with Spartan Records, North Carolina’s Unifier have announced details for their latest EP, Gutted, set for release on March 24. Today (March 9), Diffuser is ecstatic to debut their latest track, "Break" -- take it for a ride in the audio player below.

Frontman Aslan Freeman describes Gutted as a “reinvention, both as individuals and a band.”

As for "Break," bassist Luke Rayson adds, "The song is about our struggles together as a band, that so many musicians encounter. The desperation to succeed and dedication to one another during personal and collectively hard times whether it be emotionally, financially or medically."

Rayson goes on about "Break," "Through those trying times, it's all of the memories we share of hanging out with old friends and making new ones on our travels that keeps us driven and hungry for more. We have way more memories of times off the stage together than we do on stage -- and we value that tremendously. In the end, we are all trying our best to hold on to each other for dear life so that we can continue to make the memories we all cherish so much and continue to do the one thing that brought us all together: music."

Gutted hits the streets on March 24 via Spartan Records. You can get details on the new EP -- as well as the band's full tour itinerary, including their stop at Spazz Fest in Greenville, N.C. -- at their official website.
